Why Koi?

The first time I fed Koi, I fell in love with their "personality" traits and physical beauty. They embody everything we would like to be as leaders and all that companies hope to be known for.

Like the characteristics of a strong leader, Koi persevere in the face of adversity or opposition. They recognize opportunities, act on them, and look for ways to quickly overcome barriers. They have strength of character and purpose demonstrating this with the willingness to go on even though they are being swept away. They have the courage to surpass the challenges of life.

Tame enough to eat from your hand; they are energetic, constantly moving often stirring up water with the fortitude to swim upriver. Their colorful and graceful beauty has inspired artists and delighted many as they change their swimming patterns in response to music. In addition, these jewels can live for generations – the oldest reported female was 226 years old.

Koi fish symbolically represent wisdom, knowledge, longevity, loyalty, advancement, improvement, ambition, determination, endurance in critical situations, independence, freedom, surpassing expectations, strength to withstand the test of time, and prosperity. The water they live in represents consciousness and potentiality.
